Susan Langone

Susan's Story
Susan Langone is a mixed-media artist, designer, and licensed art therapist whose vibrant "Modern Folk" paintings celebrate handmade traditions, upcycled vintage fabrics, and joyful optimism. Often called "painted quilts," her work contrasts slow, high-touch textile techniques with today's fast digital art. With a BFA in Fine Arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology (1991) and a career sparked by working with renowned designer Larry Laslo, she seamlessly blended custom paintings into interior design projects. Later earning a Master's in Art Therapy and Counseling, Susan founded The Center for Resiliency, a practice rooted in the Human Potential movement that uses evidence-based art interventions to build resilience and heal anxiety, depression, and disordered behaviors.
Join us for the opening reception of Beauty Secrets, Susan Langone's captivating solo exhibition, on December 23, 2025, from 4–10 PM at On The Fringe NYC (72 Warren Street, New York). Experience her bold, uplifting works firsthand amid art, drinks, and great vibes.
